- 1. The overarching goal of the LDCF project is to build the resilience of local communities in the Kathmandu Valley to the increasing impacts of climate change, such as flooding, landslides, and drought.
- 2. Plantation of more than 10,000 climate-resilient trees on roadsides, riverbanks, and in public open spaces.
- 3. Maintain and improve ecosystem services in selected urban ecosystems with an area of 30 ha.4. Promote EbA interventions in 70 properties (60 public buildings, and 10 public schools)5. Deliver 50 research projects to generate new knowledge and evidence on the impacts and benefits of urban ecosystem-based adaptation.
- 6. Provide a beneficial effect to 82000 people directly from the project's activities.
